Founded in 1999 by a forge equipment designer and mechanical engineer, FSI began with a clear purpose: to deliver exceptional engineering solutions through deep industry expertise and a steadfast commitment to customer success. The company soon grew into a skilled team of engineers, technicians, project managers, and mechanical designers focused on solving complex manufacturing challenges.

After our founder retired in 2015, new ownership began a strategic transformation centered on technology, modernization, and innovation. Our capabilities have evolved, but our commitment to customer-focused engineering excellence remains constant.

Today, FSI serves customers across North America and worldwide from its headquarters in Cypress, Texas, north of Houston. We pair decades of forging-industry experience with advanced engineering and technology to help manufacturers improve safety, reliability, productivity, and performance.

  FSI is the premier engineering, design, and manufacturing firm for the heavy metal forming and forging industries throughout the world. Our focus and core business at FSI is the specification, modernization, modification, repair, inspection, automation, and installation of small, medium, and heavy hydraulic forging presses, forge manipulators, robots, billet descalers, hydraulic systems, electrical power, and control systems (PLC and PC-based), and supporting utilities. These services are often turnkey from initial project management and setup to final installation and startup.

  FSI is the leader in manufacturing and supplying smaller hydraulic press systems for the Oil & Gas and other industries. We currently supply these systems fully automated. Our focus on automation and controls along with our vast experience with hydraulic and process knowledge will keep our customers operating more efficiently and with higher quality service.
